How many times have you heard someone say that? How many times have you said it?
Thousands of times, I'm willing to bet.
What does it mean, "one of those days"?
Today was strange. It was one of those days (ah, yes, there it is. does that one really count?) where things went differently than I had planned.
Not bad, different. Like, my Grammar class was cancelled. (I gave the big man upstairs an extra warm thank you in regards to that! Although I had frantically finished my homework the hour before...)
I actually did the reading for American Lit.
I ate at Boom-a-rang. Alone.
I went somewhere alone. That in itself is odd.
When I got home, my room needed to be cleaned. I did everything except make the bed. That's when the strangest thing happened...I just laid down. It was so nice.
I don't know why I think my life is so hectic.
Sometimes I feel so frazzled. Pulled from one end to the other. No time. Rush, hurry, rush, hurry. Stop. Breathe. Rush, hurry, rush, hurry. latelatelatelatelate. missed another class. catch up!
But then there are days, evening, nights like these that make me wonder, what is it exactly that I am in such a fuss over?
I watched three movies(Stewart Little, Charlie's Angels, and Kit Kittredge) today. Strange combination, I know.
Now here I sit. Making my first blog. My very first blog. My very first blog which no one will ever read, but maybe someday it will help me better understand me.
So, yes. It has definitely been "one of those days". Another wonderful, crazy, mixed up day in the life of yours truly.
Live it and be blessed,
Ki
